Project Certification for Rentel offshore wind farm

Upon completion of the Rentel Offshore Windfarm, comprising of 42 Siemens SWT-7.0-154 turbines and 1 offshore substation, fully operational by end of 2018, DEWI-OCC has concluded the final stage of its Certification Services for Rentel, owned by the Otary Group. As end deliverable, DEWI-OCC granted in March 2019 to Otary the Project Certificate.

Annelies Demuynck, Deputy COO Rentel – “This project certificate attests compliance with DNVGL-SE-0073 Service Specification for Project Certification of wind farms according to IEC 61400-22. The project certificate covers all project phases from design till and including commissioning works for the site-specific evaluation and the primary and secondary steel. Project Certification of the offshore substation was carried out by Bureau Veritas and merged in the overall Project Certificate.
